Let’s celebrate the last day of Summer in English!
Here in Berlin it is pretty hot and believe me, I am not really a hot weather person so tomorrow, for my September free trial of my unique programme ‘Language Energy”, we’ll be searching for a shady place to meet, namely Consini.
So this is your opportunity to try out #languagenergy for free. It’s a very relaxed approach to practicing your conversational English and if you have a dog, then you are of course welcome to bring them too.
I’ll have walking poles with me but you can walk without if you prefer, (let me know if you want to borrow some by 7pm this evening). We’ll keep it to an hour including the meet n greet and small talk, the walk and the stretch und share session at the end.
No fancy gear is necessary. But every girl needs an excuse from time to time, don’t they? So if you are looking for an excuse to treat yourself and start as you mean to go on then feel free to kit up. Choose something bright, that is breathable. If you go all out and get new trainers, go for Goretex or similar, so that we can walk right through the winter. No excuses!
In this heat, an hour is enough to burn some calories.
Please, please, please, remember to bring a drink with you.
We’ll be talking about drones, so here is the pre languagenergy article, we’ll be talking about the legal impact of drones.
You do not need to read the whole article, the purpose of the article is to give you the vocabulary that you will need to discuss it. Highlighting 3-10 key words or phrases is a big help.
Don’t panic! I always have communication cards with me too, just in case the topic simply doesn’t appeal or is quickly discussed. So if drones don’t interest you at all, keep calm, we won’t be ‘droning on’ about it! Forgive the play on words, (I’ll explain when I see you, it requires slightly strange sound effects.)
How does languagenergy improve my English?
We stretch and warm up as we introduce ourselves, we walk for 30-40 minutes, talking in English as we go. Once we’re back we stretch, share our goals and plans, then order a drink or a coffee to enjoy as we go through some language feedback. (vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation and for more advanced speakers, communication tips and cultural insights)
We communicate through Whats App or Facebook, which lets me give you a pronunciation work out, share vocab memes, short clips or films and much more. This gives you access to English practice (watching, listening, reading and speaking) until we meet next time.
Little and Often darling! Little and Often.

So are you coming on your own or bringing a friend?
This is the only free trial that I will be running in September so if you want to take advantage of this great weather, arrange a day off and do something for yourself and your professional development.
See you there…
